Cultivation of energy. The majority of existence and of the consciousness operate from an accidental application of energy dynamics. Suffice it to say they exude the analogy of rote application due to consistency over innerstanding of the mechanics and playing with them. The micro constructs the macro. It is often spoken that he who does just for the doing is matched to he who does from understanding. Where’s the disparity? Both bring the same action to the present moment, the only difference being that one knows why to do that action while the other does it for the sake knowing only to do that. Accidental application of energetic dynamics. To eat the healthy food as it feels to provide a better present (doing for doing) and to eat well from the earth from the knowledge of which foods operate in which state of energetic discipline (doing from the why). The similarity between the two is naturally seen in the beginnings and becomes such a far gap when approaching mastery. In the context of chaos, he who moves and knows why, will adapt faster and better than he who moves from the expectation of consistent outcome (often being taught long ago by one who moved and knew why). Mastery then can be of two prongs:
1) Mastery of movement given enough time to be trained to move (outside of innerstanding of why) in enough given contexts to thrive automatically.
2) Master of movement having the mental faculties as to why to move in each given context. Once the innerstandings is known, one can then adapt new moves to new contexts and thus forms the innovation and progression of any faculty of mastery. The automatic adjustment of movement that skips the mental capacity of why can be engaged as the secondary system.
Discern the difference?
How does one then learn the second? You ask your teacher repeatedly the question of:
“Why?”
Trial and error are your friends.
