When faced with the process of cleaning out the past intentions of self, bear in mind the current moment and what it entails. For whom you perceive yourself to be, for what you instigate as the inspiration of the very thoughts scattered on the canvas we refer to as the ‘mind’. You are different from the last, each new moment as it cascades upon itself burdens this reality with a new request, a new creation, a new actualisation of self. The very identity you hold for yourself, allowed only by you, shifts and changes as each moment passes. So then sit with these items, these intentions and bursts of energy that had provided the context necessary to adapt your decisions to taking them on and ask yourself if it is needed. Intuitively, the answer will reveal itself. If given time and an attentive ear. These items and objects of our past travels can serve to muddle the mind, in that their very existence requires a filter and note upon in each moment to which they are rendered to our view. Some are worth this tax; it is to be mindful for when this is draining. It is for this that many choose the path of minimalism, to keep only that which pertains to serve you. It is your duty to clean that which serves against you from your present.
Use discernment.
