Oh and be at ease! For else it is to ensure the downfall of a mind that can both trip and catch itself simultaneously. You allow the energy to move in respect to an objective context, it is withing your control and is ultimately your decision as to what and how you feel. The subjective placed upon this context is a stimulus to this decision. The decision-making process? Almost instant. It is those for whom are more in touch and exercise their control over their ‘reactions’ (turning them into ‘actions’). They slow down this process, the time between an emotion and the context for which it was ‘justified’ is larger for those of whom decide differently. To achieve this, there are two prominent paths:
1) Meditation and mastery of reactionary systems (such as the flinch response).
2) Shifting of mindset to sit with a better disposition when faced with everyday contexts.

They work together beautifully, for would it be better to sit with a more ideal disposition while also exercising the ability to slow down the reaction and decide upon it. Separated they construct the majority of the solution. 1 actionable for each:
1) Morning shower, make it cold (zero hot water) and get in immediately, paying close mind to the flinch effect and working to diffuse it for this.
2) Recognise the triviality of the universe and how simply everything makes sense in hindsight. This too shall pass. This too shall change. And it is an epic thing.

Meditate.
