A question that arises most commonly when faced with actions that involve a level of pain. Be reminded that suffering is optional, suffering occurs when meaning is given to pain, think of it as an emotional dagger that cuts twice as deep for the pain one may feel. The question:

What are you willing to sacrifice, or do, to achieve the future moment you envision?

Simply put, are you willing to do the volume, trial and error, expenditure of the material and more to reach the heights you set for yourself? There is quantity that is asked of you when you set these objectives. Within this, you can only hold yourself responsible for the outcome of these actions. It is within your locus of control, research and learn for what is the next action, then take it.

The simplest things can be attributed to the greatest feats of human endeavour. It is less the ‘talent’ or the ‘inherent genius’ of a pioneer, and more so their obsessive (in time spent) and consistent action toward a topic or context of their choice. Skill is developed by action, more specifically the volume of that action multiplied by the leverage that each action has.
Such that:

Volume of action x Leverage of Action = Scaled output of skill.

Herein lies the next course of action: where does one increase the leverage of their action? And how can one scale the volume of that action?

Meditate.
