Would forgiveness perform and serve better than bitter anger and resentment? Would allowing others to simply live and thus allow yourself to live be better? Feel better? Holding onto anger and grudges burdens only they for whom deals them out. So why provide yourself a burden such as that? Forgiveness founded in acceptance is a form of self-love that aides in the betterment of all. If you wish to have a specific person out of your life, then do so with love and if anything, ignoring them if they become a part of a consistent context or otherwise ignoring those memories of them too. You can move through life and move specific things or people to a place away from you, it is then the continual act of resentment and other energetic charges that is less ideal.
