Pre-determine the course of action one is to take before they are in a compromised state. The bulk of ‘poor’ decisions we face concordant consequences for, are due to the state in which we made them. A hungry state will invoke several different probable outcomes when faced with fast food (junk) as opposed to a full state. These states we choose to feel into, can warp and shift our perception of anything in the moment, such that you think only of the state and that self and fail to see the fallout for the quietened, neutral, and peaceful self. So to combat this, work on foreseeing how one may feel (it is their choice after all) and deciding in respect to the context as to what is the better course of action.
