The line between confidence and arrogance is slim and variable. Such that one is most often faced with adjusting that dial dependant on who they have around them in that moment. That an innate confidence in self can also come with the acceptance of failure from a greater height than that of one for whom professes little and as such, gains a lot. It is then also within one’s duty to ensure their self-talk (and most especially around others), is sound to how they are working toward being. There are many levels of consciousness that affect the current moment, and the bulk of them lack the faculties of differentiation when it comes to irony, sarcasm, and ‘obvious’ humour. Words form matter one way or another, choose them with care.
