The lack of certainty can place one with the opportunity to feel desperation and a level of fear toward the outcome of an external event, such that it is outside their locus of control. When facing this, step through it logically, and develop a small plan or an idea of a plan as to what you would do should this lack of certainty manifest itself in that shape. This plan is to backup your confidence when facing such an event, it is to describe to the persona that you can thrive anyway. There is a difference between making a backup plan and inviting the need to use it. Fascinating and obsessing over the backup is a great way to get to test it out. Building the first few steps mentally, is a better way of handling it. If comfort is yet to return, then sit comfortable in your own ability to do what you’ve done before: build from scratch. You may lose everything externally; you still have the progressed you internally. That counts far more.
