In the design and construction of large mechanic and electrical components, there is a saying along the lines of: “if you fail to appoint a point of failure, the system will do so for you”. This can be applied to lifestyle and training, that if one fails to provide rest for the vessel-system, the system will provide one for you. Common ways of doing this involve disease and injury. The system requires a time to reset, to rest and to operate on itself as to allow for more of life and more training, it is as vital as training and doing life. The consequences of lacking in rest can result in death, death of the vessel, and death of the spirit. The use of intentional resting pays dividends in voiding any chance of true injury and disease, both of which put one out of commission for far longer. Take rest.
Meditate.
