Motivation is a synonym for momentum. Where many search for one to acquire the other there this failing in connecting the two is apparent. The more you do, the more you can do and the more likely you are to continue to do so. It is the great act of starting with little to zero idea and realising that the mind will work on the solutions to a great many things idly and during rest periods. The proverbial striking of inspiration is more so the mind’s return with a solution to something that had provided an obstacle. Interchanging motivation for momentum is the key, it is a shift that recognises that to feel motivated, or more inclined to do something, the more you must simply start. As with the physics of ol’, that which is moving, shall continue to do so until otherwise acted upon. Simply get started, and notice the gruelling mind state shift as the momentum sets in.

Meditate.
