In the effort to get better, to improve, it is ideal to recognise the progress and how far you come in the moment of working to be even better to then recognise the progress and how far you have come. It is this continual self-acceptance and love while improving that builds a healthy frame for improvement, one that begets more improvement driven from an intention of being better by principle rather than be a level of self-harshness and flack. In building from this manner, you construct a mindset of improvement in which failure can be taken as a lesson and less like a measure of how ‘insert horrid self-talk here’ you ‘are’. Lessons and progression, that is all there is within the realm of improvement.

Meditate.
