The expression of creativity in the form of what we characterize to be ‘art’ is by far one of the greatest exploits of humanity. As freedom is the liberty to express, art is then the ultimate freedom. For to define such action for the sole purpose of exercising one’s freedom (creativity) culminating in the expression of art, is to construct an abstraction that brings the perception of reality to the present moment.
To be entranced within the dancer’s leap, to the brush strokes of the painter’s portrait, and even then, to be captured by the simple literature of a poetry, as if that even language can be molded and formed in such a way to express this abstraction.
This theme is so prominent within this plane as most human invention is brought to accentuate and exacerbate the general ability to express in art. The invention of music and instruments, even larger-scale utilities such as the internet or faster transportation can be seen to have only increased the prominence of art.
That the greatest feats of architecture and the most innovative technology, is only furthered by a sleek design and creativity in presentation. That to be creative is to play, is to have fun, for it can only flow, many will tell you that forcing creativity can only get one so far, and that even if it does, it can obviously be seen to have been forced.
If one is suffering from hyper-suppression, a place to begin could be simply endeavoring in an artistic expression/project of some kind. For the sole purpose of expression in art, the freedom one can find is healing.
